LUAN NGUYEN

Luan Nguyen was appointed Chief Financial Officer of River Caddis and is responsible for driving operational excellence and strategic growth across the River Caddis Group family of companies. He brings a wealth of experience in real estate and an unwavering commitment to achieving organizational success.

 

In this role, Luan works closely with executive leadership and business segment leads to ensure progress with strategic initiatives, growth targets, and talent development. He also provides leadership for other key components of River Caddis' operation, including sustainability, research, acquisitions, risk management, capital management, asset management, human capital, marketing, cyber security and corporate communications. In this capacity, he helps lead a dynamic commercial real estate team that drives compelling advantages for River Caddis' internal and external clients.

 

Prior to joining River Caddis, Luan served in leadership roles at a regional tax credit syndicator, overseeing institutional investor relationships, equity and debt funds, and a vast portfolio of developments. As a fiduciary, he gained expertise in enhancing return, driving performance, resolving partnership issues, and negotiated hundreds of significant real estate transactions. In addition to equity investment, he has been formally trained in credit analysis and underwrote for a commercial lending institution. Throughout his career, he has achieved success in revenue growth, cost savings, team building and process improvement.

 

Luan's leadership qualities have earned him recognition as a distinguished national leader, by Affordable Housing Finance and Ten over 10 recipient. He has actively contributed to industry discussions on trends, issues, and best practices, serving on state housing committees, has been elected to trade association boards and is sought after as a speaker at key conferences and events.  His commitment extends to community engagement, where he volunteers on nonprofit boards and champions philanthropic initiatives. As a leader, Luan is known for his collaborative and inclusive leadership style. He fosters a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, empowering teams to navigate complex challenges and making informed decisions that align with the company's and our clients' overarching objectives.
